For his bachelors‘ thesis "ZEN Palermo", Matti Hänsch has been awarded with the Helmut-Hentrich-Stiftungspreis 2018. His project for a visionary reactivation of a housing quarter in Palermo originates from the international cooperation of the Institute of Urban Design and Planning, Prof. Jörg Schröder, with the Department of Architecture of the University of Palermo, Prof. Maurizio Carta.
