The seminar about rural-urban transformations in Bogotá invites César Augusto Peña, from Los Andes University Bogotá, for a debate on 26 June 2019. The seminar is organised by Alissa Diesch in connection with her doctoral research. Modes and tools of mapping and layer analysis are in the foreground of the seminar, connecting historic maps with GIS, and exploring processes of urbanisation in between social and cultural change and territorial transformation.
