Youngtown:Co-Living, Co-Learning, Co-Working for the Campus Garbsen

The Bachelors’ study project YOUNGTOWN in summer 2019 is a creative contribution to the opening of the new Campus Garbsen of Leibniz Universität Hannover. Starting from the question how student life can enhance the vibrancy and success of the Campus, the project focuses on new models of nearby Co-Living, Co-Learning, and Co-Working. This also provides new perspectives for innovative relations between the University and the cities of Hannover and Garbsen. Part of the project of the Chair for Regional Building and Urban Planning Prof. Schröder are ideas to upgrade the tram line 4 as University Line and to valorise the nearby Mittelland Channel as new urban space.
